The RENÉ UND SUSANNE BRAGINSKY STIFTUNG is a Foundation
under Swiss law (Art. 80 ff of the Swiss civil code).
The Foundation was established on January 8th, 1986 in Zurich.

Our family, and I personally, have lost a dear friend with whom we were connected for decades and to whom I owe more than words can fully express.
Of particular significance to our family was the remarkable work that Edi carried out for our family’s foundation over many years. In this role, he served as a trusted contact for countless Jewish institutions in Switzerland and Israel. He reviewed their projects with a critical eye, yet always with goodwill and deep social sensitivity. Only after his serious illness did we fully realize the immense workload that Edi carried - not only without complaint, but with the optimism that was so characteristic of him.
For decades, he led our non-profit organization, Haus der Jüdischen Jugend, as Managing Director. He fought tirelessly - like a lion - for Noam. Looking back, I am convinced that without Edi’s dedication, Noam would never have developed in such a positive way.
It touches me deeply that the last message I received from Edi was his expression of gratitude for the fortieth anniversary of our foundation. It saddens me profoundly that I can no longer return that gratitude to him in person.
Edi will be greatly missed by all of us; he will be missed by me. His life’s work will endure.
